South Brunswick Event Raises $6k for Sandy Victims

Music group Hidden Gems helps aid relief fund.

A fundraiser for Hurricane Sandy victims was held On Nov. 24, 2012 by Hidden Gems, a local group whose mission is "Sing with Passion, Serve a Cause."

Hidden Gems presented a variety musical show to an audience of over 125 supporters, at a local clubhouse in South Brunswick.

The event raised $5,000, to which an additional $1,000 was contributed from Hidden Gems' accounts, for a total donation of $6,000.

This entire sum of $6,000 were donated to the Hurricane Sandy NJ Relief Fund, a Fund organized by NJ Governor Chris Christie and First Lady Mary Pat Christie.
