South Brunswick Camera Club Reorganization Meeting Tonight

Reorganizational meeting will be dedicated to the election of officers for the upcoming year

The first meeting of the South Brunswick Camera Club for the 2011 - 2012 season will be held on September 7, from 7 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., in the meeting room of the South Brunswick Public Library, 10 Kingston Lane, Monmouth Junction.

This critical reorganizational meeting will be dedicated to the election of officers for the upcoming year and will consist of the nomination and election of a new Board of Directors including a President, Vice-President, Secretary / Public Relations Specialist, Treasurer, Exhibit Coordinator, and Field Trip Coordinator.  There also will be a discussion of future programming if time permits.

Over the years the Camera Club has received funding and support from the South Brunswick Arts Commission.  That support helped the club to get off the ground. What it needs now is a strong group of volunteers to serve as officers on its Board of Directors to help the club maintain a vibrant forum for learning and sharing. All persons interested in helping to accomplish that goal are urged to attend this meeting and to consider becoming a member of the Board.
