A seal was spotted near the Bridge Avenue jetty on the Bay Head beach and captured in this video and photo during the late afternoon last month.
Bay Head Patrolman Zachary Keller said he responded to the scene at about 2 or 2:30 p.m. Wednesday and that the seal did not appear to be injured.
"He looked like he was just resting," Keller said.

The Marine Mammal Stranding Center in Brigantine said they received multiple phone calls about the seal on Wednesday, but did not respond to the scene.
