The wet weather that arrived on Sunday looks like it will be staying around for much of the week with some periods of sunshine breaking up what could be a dreary week.
The rain looks to continue at least through tonight and into tomorrow with a high of 53 tonight before dropping down near 46 with periods of fog tonight. The forecast from the National Weather Service (NWS) calls for a slightly warmer day tomorrow with a high near 57 and winds blowing as strong as 21 MPH.
There should be a break in the rain starting Tuesday night when the temperature will drop down near 37 before climbing back up to 51 degrees on a sunny Wednesday.
Wednesday night is looking like a partly cloudy evening with a low near 36 before there is at least a 40 percent chance of rain returning for Thursday and into Thursday night.
This weekend looks to be a sunny one with highs in the 40's and lows in the 20's.
There is still no word from the NWS as to whether it will be a white Christmas, but that should become clear later in the week.
