Donate Food to Help South Brunswick Sandy Victims

Residents staying at the emergency shelter at the South Brunswick Senior Center are in need of help.

With thousands of people still without power after Superstorm Sandy, the emergency shelter at the South Brunswick Senior Center is filled to capacity.

South Brunswick Social Services is providing food to those living at the shelter after being displaced from their homes with temperatures dropping. Anyone who can spare canned food is asked to help meet the needs of their neighbors in duress. Spare cans of soup, beans, chili, etc., would be most appreciated.

There is a bin outside the Social Services office for food donations in the South Brunswick Municipal Building. The office is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at 540 Ridge Road in Monmouth Junction.
