Cub Scout Pack 108 will mark their 20th anniversary during the 2013/2014 program year. The Pack, founded in 1993, can boast many that have achieved the highest rank in scouting, Eagle Scout.
Based in Dayton, Pack 108 is chartered by the First Presbyterian Church of Dayton and is active in community events.
Pack 108 will be holding their annual recruiting dates on Sept. 30 from 7-8 p.m. at Indian Fields and again on Oct. 3 from 7-8 p.m. at Indian Fields.
Cub Scouting embraces the Boy Scout principles at an age-appropriate level. Scouts learn how the world around them works, life skills as well as respect and reverence.
Learning through doing is a foundation for scouting. Past Pack activities have included hikes at historical sites such as Valley Forge, Washington Crossing and Sourland Mountain. We have camped in the outfield of Trenton Thunder stadium and slept on the Battleship New Jersey. We also have our annual cubmobile races and the Pinewood Derby.
