American Legion Post 401 Annual Drive for South Brunswick Food Pantry

Drive begins early this year to meet the rising need.

American Legion Post 401’s annual food drive in support of the South Brunswick Food Pantry began Oct. 19.

Area residents may drop off their non-perishable food donations at the American Legion Post Home, at 148 Major Road in Monmouth Junction, any time after 2 p.m., seven days a week.

“The food bank has a dire need for staples,” said Gary Cooper, Post 401 commander. “They are out of many items, that’s why we started this year’s drive early.”
