Bollywood inspired musical artists the Hidden Gems will perform in the first of the South Brunswick Parks and Recreation Department's summer Concerts in the Park series. The Gems celebrate the growing popularity of Hindi cinema and Bollywood, as well as music from around the globe, especially among people of Indian origin. Rain location is at the South Brunswick Community Center located at 124 New Rd. in Monmouth Junction.

, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., , 124 New Rd, Monmouth Junction. Ten men’s teams and ten women’s teams will be playing ball to help Hugs for Brady in the fight against pediatric cancer.

, 11 a.m., Princeton Manor, 3 Huntington Court, Kendall Park. A ceremony will be held to dedicate the "Honor Garden," which will recognize members of the military, police officers, firefighters, and emergency medical personnel that protect the community on an everyday basis. Expected to attend the plaque laying ceremony are State Sen. Christopher "Kip" Bateman, Mayor Frank Gambatese, South Brunswick Police Chief Raymond Hayducka, Kendall Park Fire Chief Chris Perez, American Legion Commander Gary Cooper, VFW Commander Timothy Noonan and other military and emergency personnel.

, noon to 4 p.m., , 540 Ridge Rd, Monmouth Junction. The South Brunswick Public Library will provide a fun-filled afternoon with face painting, Mendhi, balloon animals, crafts, games, performances, drama workshop; plus information booths from local business and non-profit organizations. South Brunswick Patch will be there as well, so stop by our table for some free Patch goodies.

, 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. , 110 Kingston Ln, Monmouth Junction. The SBPL will once again be offering their six-week International Film Festival this summer, featuring current, critically aclaimed films from the world cinema.
