5 Things in South Brunswick this Weekend

Kids' Day Fall Festival and South Brunswick Halloween Spooktacular highlight weekend events in town.

Saturday

 Christ the King Lutheran Church, 3330 State Route 27, Kendall Park

In addition to selling pumpkins, gourds, Indian corn and more, the Kids' Day Celebration on Saturday, October 27, will include face painting, story time, pumpkin painting, photo cut-out boards, games, apple cider, hot chocolate, snacks and a bake sale. Open Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.; Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.; and Sunday from noon to 5p.m., this fundraising project is sponsored by the congregation of Christ the King Lutheran Church.  The proceeds will be used to fund church outreach programs with 10 percent of the proceeds to benefit the South Brunswick Food Pantry.

South Brunswick Home Depot Kitchen Event, The Home Depot, 4095 Us Highway 1, Monmouth Junction, noon

Come out for the Meet your Designers Kitchen Event. This event will include the kitchen design team as well as many vendor partners. Some of these vendor partners include, American Woodmark Cabinets, RSI (American Classic Cabinets), Kraftmaid Cabinets, Silestone, Bath remodel/ Acrylic Liners, and a representative from our kitchen install team, Aldo Design Group. Light snacks and refreshments will be available.

Halloween Spooktacular South Brunswick, Recreation & Parks Department, 124 New Rd, Monmouth Junction, noon

The South Brunswick Department of Parks and Recreation and LocalChatBox.com will be hosting the 2nd Annual Halloween Spooktacular. Kids infant to 12 years old come in costume and Trick or Treat with local businesses at this indoor event. There is a grand prize giveaway which is a Tomb Stone covered in local gift cards from places like (Dusals, Hawaiian Bronze Tanning, one free night at Hampton Inn, Confectionately Yours, jerZjump,ProSkate). There is a Bounce House sponsored by Camp Bow Wow of Lawrenceville, Glow in the Dark Mini Golf sponsored by Crown of India. Both provided by PlaytimeParty.com. Food/Drinks, Games, Activities, Prize Giveaways and Entertainment. Two Dance Entertainment Shows (Dance on Q and Artists In Motion). One Karate Show (Family Karate Super Center). Some of the vendors attending are Mad Science-kids will get to make science projects, Kids’ Music Round will have musical instruments for the kids to play, SBAA- raffling away 1 Free SoftBall and One Free Baseball Registration, Jeff Hoffmann and Sons Plumbing, My Gym of South Brunswick and so many more local businesses will be participating.

Non-denominational Christian worship open to all.
