Attention all sports enthusiasts and Harry Potter fans alike, both young and old. Quidditch Night is back by popular demand at SBHS.  Come see six teams of students and teachers competing for the SBHS Renaissance Club's Quidditch Cup. The teams will be playing the intercollegiate version of muggle quidditch.  Bertie Botts Every Flavor Beans and delicious non-alcoholic ButterBeer will be on sale.  Tickets are $5 at the door.  The event will be held in the Annex Gym.  Doors open at 6:30 p.m. with the main event starting at 7 p.m.

American Legion Post 401 will host a Doo Wop to Disco Oldies Dance on Friday, February 3, at 8 p.m. The dance is free and open to the public. For information call 732-329-9861.

The VooDudes will bring their usual lively mix of zydeco, blues and New Orleans Jazz when they return to the township’s Jazz Café on Friday night, Feb. 3.  The concert starts at 8 p.m. in the Herb Eckert Auditorium at the South Brunswick Municipal Complex, 540 Ridge Road. Doors open at 7:30 p.m. Whether it’s imploding the hits of Hank Williams into the ultimate drivin’ and cryin’ songs (That Hank Williams Feeling”), or eulogizing the Southern jazz funeral (“Party When You’re Gone”), The VooDUDES do it all—and with a beat that will make you move your feet.

South Brunswick Public Library Teen Librarian Saleena Davidson will unveil a huge five-panel mural Books Come Alive.  Numerous teen artists who worked on the project for more than two years will be acknowledged.  The public is welcome to attend.
