Pancake breakfast to benefit Kingston Volunteer Fire Department highlights events in and around town.

Friday

Resounding Joy Sound Therapy, Sand Hills Community Wellness Center, 57 Sand Hills Rd, Kendall Park, 6:30 p.m.

This workshop will allow participants to journey to joy as they explore various modalities of sacred sound.  Sacred sound refers to a variety of music and sound practices by world cultures utilizing various instruments and the voice to achieve health and wellness. Music has been proven to reduce physical pain and relieve stress while increasing our body’s energy and awaken to the joy of our inner child.

An afternoon of informative and educational program fun with a skit and interactive activities to learn about poison awareness and prevention. For both children and parents. 

Establish, South Brunswick Public Library, 110 Kingston Ln, Monmouth Junction, 2:30 p.m.

Teens in South Brunswick gather to establish and maintain good works within the township and occasionally the state.  This group works in tandem with the TVA and tries to go beyond just talking about making a difference.

Kingston Fire Department Annual Pancake Breakfast, Kingston Volunteer Fire Department, 6 Heathcote Rd, Princeton, 8 a.m.

All you can eat pancake breakfast. Adults - $8, Children 12 and under - $4. All proceeds go to helping maintain the Fire Department and it's operations to saving our community.

Marathi Language Classes, South Brunswick Public Library, 110 Kingston Ln, Monmouth Junction, 3 p.m.

 This class is for anyone age 5 and above who is interested in learning the Marathi language.  Instruction is given to enable the learner to read, write and speak at a basic level using multi-media and technology.  Children, ages 5 to 10, should be accompanied by a caregiver.
