Pro Wrestling Event To Benefit South Brunswick PAL, South Brunswick High School, 750 Ridge Rd, Monmouth Junction, 6 p.m.

The South Brunswick, NJ Police Athletic League will be the beneficiaries of a night of National Pro Wrestling Superstars pro wrestling action, as NPWS returns to the South Brunswick area. Headlining NPWS' return to South Brunswick will be not just one, or even two, but three former TV wrestling superstars. First off will be an original ECW hardcore legend, "The Innovator Of Violence" Tommy Dreamer, followed by recent WWE and ECW and TNA TV superstar Matt Hardy, both making their first South Brunswick area appearances. And finally, making his first appearance anywhere in NPWS after a long absence and illness will be a true wrestling legend, a WWE Hall Of Famer, a former WWE World Heavyweight and Tag-Team Champion, and a WrestleMania star going all the way back to the very first WrestleMania, the one and only Iron Sheik. Doors open for the family friendly show at 6 p.m. with the action getting started at 7:35 p.m.

Stem Cell Donor Drive for Marlboro Mom Shira Klein, Dance on Q, 4095 US Highway 1 South, South Brunswick, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Shira, loving wife and mother of three needs your help. Shira was diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma on New Year’s Eve 2010. So many with diseases like Shira’s require a stem cell transplant and are unable to find a donor to help save their lives. You might be the one to help save a life. All it takes a the swab of your cheek, and you may be a match for one of the thousands of people who are depending on donors to save their lives.
