South Brunswick Cub Scouts will celebrate the 102nd birthday of the Boy Scouts of America at the annual Blue and Gold Banquet on Saturday. The event, hosted by Dayton Cub Scout Pack 108, is designed to show members of the public what scouting has to offer. The banquet, which is catered, will feature flags as a theme to celebrate the birthday of scouting. A vexillologist will also discuss the history of flags.

Learn how to save a life at the annual free CPR/AED marathon. Times: 9 a.m., noon and 3 p.m. Please call 732-297-6042 to register - class size is limited. No fee unless certification is needed. Ages 10 to adult.

The Monroe and South Brunswick Optimist Club will sponsor the 4th annual Laughter and Giving Stand Up Comedy Event on Saturday, Feb. 11 from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets are $25 per person, tables of 10 are available.
