Jersey Physical Therapy 'On the Move' with Free Lifestyle Enhancement Workshops

KENDALL PARK, NJ – Due to the popularity of its inaugural Lifestyle Enhancement Series last year, Jersey Physical Therapy released plans to continue offering free bimonthly educational sessions. The 2014 “On the Move” Lifestyle Enhancement Series, led by physical therapists from Jersey Physical Therapy, will begin on Monday, Feb. 17 with “Running: Get Off to a Safe Start” at Princeton Running Company beginning at 7 p.m.

The series will continue with free lifestyle- and/or athletic-based workshops held in communication locations near one of Jersey Physical Therapy’s three locations in Kendall Park, Milltown/East Brunswick and Plainsboro. According to Avani Vora, assistant clinical director of Jersey PT’s Kendall Park office, the goal of the series is to empower the public to become more proactive in injury prevention, pain management and improving overall function and health.

“As physical therapists, patient education is our strength,” said Vora, a physical therapist with Jersey Physical Therapy for nearly six years. “When it comes to educating the public, this takes us to another level, providing a compassionate, structured and free environment where people can learn to take control of pain, performance and the prevention of injury.”
