The Willows swim team started their 2014 season competing in the competitive “B” league.
On Saturday, June 21, 2014, the Willows opened the season by hosting the Somerset Hills swim team. Days later the Willows attempted to host another swim meet, only to have the rain and thunder cancel the meet.
Then on Saturday, June 28 the Willows traveled to Warren to compete against Round Top. Despite some strong showing by the Willows in the first 2 meets, the Willows fell to the both competitors. The Willows enjoyed a bye the week of 4th of July but will get right back to competition with swim 3 meets next week!

The Willows are excited with their team of Co-Head Coaches this season, Kevin Atkinson and Megan Fosko. Kevin is a veteran Willows club member, lifeguard and swimmer. He swam of the Willows to over 10 years! In addition, Kevin swam competitively for the South Brunswick High School as well as RVY Riptide, where he was captain of one of their teams.
He is entering his junior year at High Point University, in North Carolina where he is studying Exercise Science. Megan just finished her second year at Ramapo College. She is part of the 6year physical therapy program. She swims on the Ramapo swim team. Prior to Ramapo, Megan also swam on Riptide and for North Brunswick High School. She has spent the last three summers lifeguarding and teaching lessons at the Willows, and has experience coaching last summer for Arete swim camp.
