Bentley Community Services is a designated 501 (c) 3 charitable organization that is specifically designed to address the new need in our communities; helping hardworking low, middle and upper middle class families that do not qualify for assistance but need help due to the unstable economy. We are a healthy food provider and more to struggling, working families. With numerous job lay-offs, corporations downsizing, businesses closing, people working fewer hours and earning less pay, the higher costs of living, healthcare programs diminishing, an unforeseen emergency and medical expenses, so many working families are struggling.  Pensions are ended and paychecks stop coming in. They do not qualify for assistance other than unemployment as they earn above state and federal guidelines and they cut back on food and basic needs in order to afford their monthly expenses and bills. There are many families, so often middle class families, struggling in our communities.

By Bentley Community Services providing an entire range of healthy groceries, fresh vegetables and fruits, breads and bakery, toiletries, household products, adult education they request and resources, the money they save on these crucial staples enables them to pay their monthly bills and expenses and avoid foreclosures and evictions.  Participant families are able to feed their children, put gas in the car, pay for much needed repairs, pay down debt and medical expenses. We provide for working, participant families in our local surrounding communities in Montgomery Township, Hillsborough and Princeton as well as throughout Somerset, Hunterdon, Middlesex and Mercer counties. We provide a community where people can be responsible and accountable for meeting their basic needs and equip them with tools to overcome financial difficulty.

If you struggling and having difficulty due to the unstable economy, please contact Dorothy Stearns, Executive Director at 908-227-0684 and please visit our website at www.bentleycommunityservices.org
