First Farmers’ Market in South Brunswick Open Until September

The Kendall Park Farmers’ Market, organized by Christ the King Lutheran Church, 3330 Route 27, Kendall Park (across the street from Stop & Shop), is now open every Wednesday from 2 pm to 7 pm, through September 17.

The location of the market and hours of operation make healthy food purchases easily available to commuters, families with children, and people who enjoy the variety that shopping at an open market gives them.  Fresh produce, meat, eggs, bakery items, pickled vegetables, and specialty foods will be available for purchase.

The ministry of Christ the King certainly feeds the spirit, but it also helps nourish the community as evidenced by our church members who regularly donate food to the South Brunswick Food Pantry.   Pastor Kim Carlson sees the farmers’ market as a way “to enhance the health and well being of our community through increased access to locally grown, fresh foods.”

The Kendall Park Farmers’ Market vendors and Christ the King Lutheran Church look forward to serving our community in the spirit of goodness and fellowship.
