Education Foundation Announces Second Annual Alumni Award

The Education Foundation of South Brunswick Township, Inc. is proud to announce the Second Annual South Brunswick High School Distinguished Alumni Award.  The award recognizes notable South Brunswick alumni who have contributed to society in an exemplary manner, and in doing so, have brought honor to the South Brunswick School District. By paying tribute to its distinguished alumni, the Education Foundation hopes not only recognize their achievements, but also to inspire current students and community members to consider their own contributions to society.  The inaugural Distinguished Alumni Awards were given last year to alumni: David Bianchi, Gregory Halili, Stephen Portnoy and Anna Quindlen.

The Distinguished Alumni Awards are to be given annually, with the number of nominees honored each year to be determined by the selection committee, up to a maximum of 4 honorees per year.  The selection committee will be comprised of the Trustees of The Education Foundation of South Brunswick as well as a South Brunswick School District Board Member and Administrator.

This year’s selected award recipient(s) will be honored at the Education Foundation’s annual gala, A Taste for Education, to be held on October 28, 2013 at the Princeton Doubletree Hotel in South Brunswick, NJ.
