Block Party - Sand Hills Community Wellness Center

We would like to extend a warm, welcoming invitation to the entire community to come to our BLOCK PARTY on Sat., Oct. 12 from 12:00 noon-4:00 pm. This event will serve as the official, "hard" Grand Opening of the Sand Hills Community Wellness Center at 57 Sand Hills Rd. in Kendall Park.  For further information, please visit:  www.feedingallwhohunger.com/block-party.html or call (732) 297-9182.

A number of our most popular instructors will give FREE Demo Classes throughout the afternoon.  There will be a variety of activities suitable for kids as well.  Members of the Wellness Board will give tours of the Wellness Center facilities. Rain or shine!

Weather permitting, there will also be free live music outdoors and the youth group of the Community Presbyterian Church will provide food at a nominal cost. Also weather permitting, there will be outdoor field games for children and the children's playground will be open later in the afternoon.

Here is schedule of our free demos, classes and special children's activities.

12:00 noon  -  Children's face painting/tattoos

12:30 pm -      Fun Cooking Demo:  Rainbow Salad!  with Allie O'Brien    Children friendly!

1:00 pm -      Callanetics demo class  with Jennifer Manson
             -      Outdoor field games for children (weather permitting)

1:30 pm -      Yoga demo class   with Integral Yoga Institute Princeton

2:00 pm -      Sound Journey, with Sacred Gongs    Sound healing with Lois Harrison     Children friendly!

2:30 pm -      City Kidz World    with Melissa Edwards     Children friendly!

3:00 pm -      Jin Shin Jyutsu demo class    with Kerry Kay
               -      Outdoors children's playground open (weather permitting)

3:30 pm -      Piloxing demo class    with Carol Bender
