Another day of rain is in the forecast as we head into the weekend.
Elsewhere in town, fans of jazz music will have a treat tonight with the return of the South Brunswick Jazz Cafe. Here's what else you need to know on a wet Friday.
1. Today's forecast calls for steady rain in the morning through the afternoon with a high of 61 degrees with up to an inch of rain falling. The temperature will drop to the mid-50's overnight, with the rain continuing.
2. The South Brunswick Jazz Cafe will begin at 8 p.m. with Paul Plumeri. One part technician, one part poet and one part guitar craftsman, Plumeri has been playing his own style of blues in and around Trenton and eastern Pennsylvania clubs for more than three decades. The concert will be held in the Herb Eckert Auditorium in the Senior Center at the Municipal Complex, located at 540 Ridge Road in Monmouth Junction. Admission is $6 at the door and light refreshments are served.
