A new year here on the Jersey Shore was kicked off with a new season of "Jersey Shore" last night. But before last night's episode, there was New Year's Eve with Snooki... Originally MTV wanted to drop Snooki from a ball in Times Square, but no dice!  Instead the Plan B brought the event down to the Jersey Shore house in Seaside Heights. Again, this was a much more appropriate decision, seeing that Times Square is not part of the Jersey shoreline in any way. On Thursday night, at 10 p.m., locals will again see images of their beloved Seaside Heights, as seen through the eyes of MTV's Jersey Shore. And if you watched Season 2 of Jersey Shore, then you know that our "favorite" ultra-tanned, foul-mouthed, hair-gel-infused, fist-pumping pack of G-words were down in Miami over the winter.
