Richard Levine accepted a plaque of appreciation for Dow Jones Foundation from the South Brunswick Public Library at the Library Foundation’s Annual Book & Author Gala Dinner Oct. 4 in Pierre’s Restaurant in Monmouth Junction.

Dow Jones Foundation donated $7,500 this past year to the Library Foundation and Library services.   Dow Jones has been a reliable and generous Library supporter for many years.

Mr. Levine has served as a reporter, columnist, editor and senior news executive over his four decades with The Wall Street Journal and Dow Jones & Company, retiring as Vice President of Dow Jones for news and staff development.

He is currently President of the Dow Jones News Fund, Inc., a foundation dedicated to promoting careers in journalism, and a member of the advisory committee of the Dow Jones Foundation, which oversees the company’s philanthropy.
