Ziminski earns 150th win.

"We are off to a good start, but need to work hard and improve all areas of our game to fully reach our potential as a team," South Brunswick Coach Mark Ziminski said.

South Brunswick defeated East Brunswick, 5-2, on Apr. 5.

"Our defense, led by goalie Kenny Keenan, has been playing very well in the first few games," Ziminski said. "We held East Brunswick scoreless in the first half of our 5-2 win.

"Seniors Justin Berger and Carlos Roman are leading the way.  Bryan Stonkus, Alex Lorber, Mike Boccio and Dave Flanders have been steady and effective."

In the win against East Brunswick, Violante had two goals and an assist. Ryan Fraass, Matt Goble and Riley Kleber added a goal each. Colin Quigley had two assists.

"Offensively, we still need to improve and finish better," Ziminski said. "Dom Violante has done a great job early in the year with goal scoring, but we need more players to step up and take responsibility for making a play and scoring goals."
