Registration continues for all of the popular South Brunswick Community Education summer camps. Complete registration information and forms for the reasonably-priced summer programs can be found in an informative brochure. Camps are open to all area children—they do not have to attend South Brunswick schools.
Day Camps offer parents 7 a.m.- 6 p.m. care, great activities, entertainment and trips. They offer BASE Camp at Indian Fields School for grades 1-5. Adventure Camp for grades 6-8 will be held at Crossroads North School. Spaces are available in camp session beginning July 30.
Enrichment Camps has been enhanced and expanded to include full day options. New for 2012 are STEM Camps, Mad Science, Beginner’s Art, Fitness Fun, In A Kaleidoscope and early morning drop off and late pick up. Camps with spaces available: Academic Enrichment (gr. 1-5), Afternoon Adventures, In A Kaleidoscope, Summer Mania (gr. 6-9), Kindergarten Prep, Kinder Fun, Dance Academy (gr 3-6), Theatre (gr. 6-9), Lights Camera Action (gr. 3-5), & Peace Out Film Festival (gr. 6-9).
Sports Camps with space available include Girls & Boys Volleyball, Basketball, Boys Soccer, Viking Gymnastics, Tennis, Cross Country, and Cheerleading. They proudly introduce Softball Camp this summer.
In an effort to “go green” the Summer 2012 brochure is available online at www.sbschools.org. They are also available at the Board of Education Office and the library.
