VIDEO: Firefighters Battle Bus Blaze on NJ Turnpike
There are no injuries, according to police.
Firefighters were seen battling a blaze after a bus caught fire on the New Jersey Turnpike southbound at exit 8A around 12:35 p.m.
The fire was reported shortly after 12 p.m. and there were no injuries, according to state police.
The right lane was blocked as of 12:32 p.m., according to the Department of Transportation.
New Jersey State Police reported that the bus had been removed from the turnpike and traffic was flowing normally as of 2:30 p.m.
The cause of the fire has not yet been determined, according to police.

It looks like the NJ turnpike is bad luck for buses! Does it seem odd to anyone else that cars are driving past this bus as it burns? One would think they would have stopped traffic at least until it was put out. If it had exploded, it would blown these cars away for sure. Just sayin'.
