A busy weekend of events in South Brunswick.

 

Saturday

2nd Annual Tour de South Brunswick Bike Ride & WalkSouth Brunswick High School750 Ridge Rd, Monmouth Junction, 8 a.m.

Come out for a fun family event that supports the Education Foundation of South Brunswick Township, Inc., a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization whose sole purpose is to support the South Brunswick School District. Check-in begins at 8 a.m., rides start at 9 a.m. and a family fun walk begins at 9:15 a.m.

Monmouth Junction Elementary School Community Craft Sale, Flea Market and Garage Sale, Crossroads South Middle School195 Major Rd, Monmouth Junction, 9 a.m.

Monmouth Junction Elementary School is hosting it's second annual Community Flea Market and Garage Sale from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Over 80 Parking Spaces of Items! Crafters, Households, Companies, and an Ice Cream truck will be on hand. The Trenton Rescue Mission will be on site all day accepting donations of all types.  If you don't want to take any of your unsold items back home, place it on the truck. Tax forms will be available. Plus Monmouth Junction Elementary get 15-cents a pound for all clothing donated.

Healthy Kids DayYMCA329 Culver Rd, Monmouth Junction, 10 a.m.

The South Brunswick Family YMCA will provide an event of family fun that's free and open to the public. There will be free youth fitness demo’s, a Wii Fitness Challenge and an event goodie bag. There will also be contests all day long. Music will be provided by Magic 98.3 FM. Call 732-329-1150 for more information.

2nd Annual Hugs for Brady Twilight 5k & Family Fun RunSouth Brunswick High School750 Ridge Rd, Monmouth Junction, 3 p.m.

A evening of fun for the entire family.  5k Run, Family Walk, Face Paintings, Food Vendors and a free live concert by Jeremiah James. Funds go to fight pediatric cancer.

All-You-Can-Eat Not Just Beef Steak DinnerSouth Brunswick Senior Center540 Ridge Rd, Monmouth Junction, 7 p.m.

The Eighth Annual All-You-Can-Eat Not Just Beef Steak Dinner to support the South Brunswick Public Library. Tickets are $45 each, available at the South Brunswick Public Library and online at www.sbpl.info/foundation/tickets. This dinner is an annual fundraiser by the Library Foundation. Dinner includes: antipasto, beef, bread, penne in tomato sauce, fries, ice cream roll, and beverages including beer.

Jersey Follettes Free Concert, South Brunswick Public Library110 Kingston Ln, Monmouth Junction, 2 p.m.

This program is part of the Friends of SBPL Daphne Powell Concert Series. It is funded in part by Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders, Middlesex County Cultural & Heritage Commission with assistance through a grant provided by New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Dept. of State. Dayton resident Ashley Delgado, a 2003 graduate of South Brunswick High School, is part of a vocal performance group called the "Jersey Follettes," who seek to show off what New Jersey is all about. The Follettes are comprised of girls from all over the state, who perform song and dance numbers that include mash-ups of some musical standards combined with contemporary pop acts.
